Actually, a few body parts must "COORDINATE"
to perform the tricks.
We can say coordinate means working closely together
to complete a task, the body parts need to communicate
with each other to do it well.
How do our body parts communicate?

Striking a ball
PRECISELY
She READS where the ball is,
then move the arms to strike it at the right time.

Juggling objects
WITHOUT DROPPING
He keeps READING the position of each ball &
catching/throwing each ball before the next one drops down.

Catching a
coming ball
ACCURATELY
He IS READING the movement of the ball & running to the correct location,
while reaching out the arm & moving the hand to carefully catch the ball.

Dribbling & moving
with a ball
SMOOTHLY
She keeps READING where her opponent is going &
moving her arms and feet while controlling the ball, so that she can go past the opponent.

By reading the situation, our brain tells our body parts what to do next.
Our brain can understand what we see
and calculate when to start running,
how to catch the ball or which arm to use
(this is what we call READING the situation),
then finally controls our body parts to move appropriately.
Isn't it amazing?

When the body parts got the orders, they have to react correctly.
To do so, we need to ask our brain and our body parts to do some communication exercise to improve their coordination!
Today, we are going to train our HANDS AND EYES,
that's called hand-eye coordination (手眼協調) .
